Educational Program

Educational program

Our educational play-based program is grounded on thorough research about how children learn best. Our daily experiences see ordinary routines transformed into rituals for learning, finding opportunities in the everyday. Our planning cycle is child-centred, providing a balance between uninterrupted play, inquiry and planned intentional teaching, offering enormous potential for enriching learning experiences and transitions (including to school). Here at Little Learners Centre, we focus closely on building respectful relationships, fostering your child's emotional and social well-being, emerging independence, sense of agency, competency, connectedness and personal identity, drawing on a range of perspectives and theories about how children learn and play. Our practices are underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework.

All programs delivered by the service:

  • is based on an approved learning framework
  • is delivered in accordance with that approved learning framework

  • the child will have a strong sense of well-being
  • the child will be a confident and involved learner
  • the child will be an effective communicator.
